Q. What is Kenpo?
A. Kenpo's roots are based in the Chinese Martial Arts, However it has been highly modified by people like Mr. Ed Parker, and Mr. John M. LaTourrett, (who was a student of the late Ed Parker). As a result of the modifications, the Kenpo system is one of the most efficient, effective, and pragmatic of the Martial Arts taught today. It is practical, realistic, and can easily be applied to any situation. Kenpo has been the subject of many magazine articles, and books. Kenpo is recognized as one of the most complete systems of self-defense and personal development available to day.


Q. Who studies Kenpo?
A. We have students from all ages and all walks of life. Age is no factor. We have pre-school children, boys and girls, men and women. People who want to keep in shape; people who enjoy athletic competition; people who want to benefit from such things like :
  • Awareness Training
  • self-confidence
  • Trim Body
  • Speed
  • Coordination
  • Power
Most Importantly, People who want to be able to defend themselves and their loved ones with the most practical and effective system of martial arts available.
Q. Does Kenpo take years to learn?
A. Yes, and No! Kenpo is a life time study, however, from the first introductory lesson, you will learn self-defense moves that you can immediately put to use. We had a student who was attacked after only two lessons, and successfully defended himself. Best of all you can practice the self-defense techniques anywhere, with no special attire, or expensive equipment.

Q. How do I get started
A. We start everyone with an introductory program. This gives you a chance to check out our school and see if you like it. ( It doesn't make sense to jump in to a program and halfway thorough decide you don't even like it.)
Q. How Much does it cost
A.
The Introductory Program is five private classes and is $50.00. It will last about 1 month, depending on how often we can get you in for lessons.
